Its activities are centered on four business areas: Catalysis, Energy Materials, Performance Materials and Recycling.

    The purpose of this project was to provide development support for multiple internal projects. These internal projects where situated in Japan (Umicore UMS) and US (Umicore AC), but managed and implemented from Belgium. The primary focus of the projects was to migrate the different locations from an old SAP system with lots of custom build functionalities to a new system which was based on the SAP best practices.

    Power Tools, a division of Atlas Copco was looking for a solution to easily create or change materials in their SAP system. They chose to create a custom application which would perfectly fit their business specific needs.

    The basic idea behind the application was to have their marketing department to create a new master data request to either create or change a material. After creating the request, this request would end up with their purchasing department (if the material was procured externally) to complete purchasing relevant data. Eventually the request would end up with the master data coordinator who would review the request and approve the material or send it back to a previous department.

  • Xperthis - Hospital migration

    For two hospitals located in Mol and Geel a migration is due to 1 January 2014. They both have an SAP environment in the Xperthis landscape. The focus of this project is to consolidate both systems into one system which then will be used as of 1 January 2014.

    Deknudt Frames NV, founded in 1923, is a family company specialized in production and distribution of photo frames and albums. They have about 130 employees spread across Belgium and Slovakia (production). To keep up with their business they were looking for a solid ERP solution. For this project a new SAP All-in-One implementation was chosen.

    Delivering support for multiple customers which signed off for an SLA contract. These customers reported issues, change requests or complaints through a web based interface. Based on the urgency these issues and requests needed to be handled. These customers where mostly SMB companies with very specific and complex technical flows which were only possible by custom building them.

    Ordina Belgium was dissatisfied about their current purchasing process, where there was no approval or overview. The end-users wouldn’t have access to the back-end SAP system, so they chose to implement a new SAP Portal. As the default screens provided by the business packages weren’t satisfying the customer, custom build ABAP Web Dynpro screens would be developed. For the approval flow a business workflow would be used to get the approval requests to the right person.

To ensure the same way of working like their existing purchasing application, they chose to develop a solution inside their existing SAP Portal.
